Lawrence comes from a family of distinguished attorneys. His father was a New York State Supreme Court Justice. Close family include the Clerk of the Court for Queens County, New York, the Chief Judge of the Second Appellate District for the State of New York, the County Executive for Nassau County, New York, and many other family members engaged in the practice of law.
He honed his skills as a trial attorney for the government before entering private practice in 1977. Since entering private practice Lawrence has continued with an active civil trial agenda. Over the years, Mr. Livoti has had extensive experience in areas as diverse as probate, guardianship, criminal law, divorce and business law. He brings this variety of legal disciplines to his probate practice. He has served as Special Magistrate in complex probate litigation matters. Mr. Livoti has argued nearly 100 jury trials and served as trial counsel in more than two dozen successful appeals.
Lawrence enjoys travel, including 75+ foreign countries and most of the States, reading, history and experiencing new things.
